A state-level marathon and a ceremony that recognises local talent.
The marathon is the one day in the year when the whole village turns out. It is also how the foundation reaches young people who would not otherwise walk into a library.

State-Level Marathon
A state-level marathon with prizes of ₹11,000, ₹5,100 and ₹3,100.

- A state-level marathon organised by the foundation, with cash prizes for the first three finishers.
- Why it matters
- It gives young runners from the district a serious event to train for, close to home.
- Who it serves
- Runners from across the state, and the villages that host and attend.
- Reported activity
- First prize ₹11,000.
- Second prize ₹5,100.
- Third prize ₹3,100.

A ceremony honouring students and achievers from the area.

- A talent recognition ceremony held by the foundation.
- Why it matters
- Recognition given in front of the village carries further than a certificate posted home.
