Everything below happens in the villages around Dausa. Each area lists what is done, why, who it serves, and what the foundation has reported.

Education

A free library, school-fee and uniform support, awareness campaigns and recognition for students who do well.

Most of the foundation’s work sits here. The aim is narrow and practical: remove the specific things that stop a rural student from continuing — a fee that cannot be paid, a uniform that is missing, or simply nowhere quiet and well-lit to study.

Environment

Plantation drives and environmental awareness work in the same villages.

Planting is done with the schools and the village rather than as a separate exercise, so that the saplings have someone to look after them once the camera leaves.

Women Empowerment

Support and awareness work directed at women and girls.

Women empowerment is reported as one of the foundation’s areas of work, and runs through the education programmes as well — free dress and uniform for girls from poor families, and girls taking part in the marathon alongside everyone else.

Sports & Youth

A state-level marathon and a ceremony that recognises local talent.

The marathon is the one day in the year when the whole village turns out. It is also how the foundation reaches young people who would not otherwise walk into a library.
